I had my first experience with restriction when I was in 3rd grade, it was also my first encounter of being rebellious. Life was tough for me in 3rd grade, as bizarre as it might sound, there were a lot of restrictions that did not make sense to me. Even though I was just a little 3rd grader with no better understanding of right or wrong, I knew when I was being treated poorly. I knew I had to stand up for myself because no one else would. As a matter of fact, I stood up for the group that felt like they were also being mistreated. There were obvious consequences that happened to me because certain things in life will never go our way, but I definitely feel like this little act of rebellion impacted my life and change the way I live today.
